For normal carpet cleaning, our machines spray a fine mist of special detergent and water onto the carpet and immediately remove the dirt-filled solution with a powerful vacuum action. Drying times depend on a number of factors including the temperature and humidity, the depth and density of carpet pile and the amount of cleaning required.
For large scale, commercially used carpets or those with particularly heavy soiling, we use a deep cleaning foam extraction system.
On a single pass, air and detergents are mixed under pressure to generate a dense foam. This is agitated into the carpet pile by a cylindrical brush. The brush applies the foam to loosen dirt from base to tip of each carpet fibre. Dirt held in suspension within the foam is then immediately removed by the turbo-vacuum in the same sweep.
While not completely dry, this foam based system reduces the drying time over normal cleaning methods allowing normal use to resume much sooner. This is hugely advantageous for public areas such as pubs, restaurants or nurseries.
